Ingredients
  • 3 oz vodka any type you like
  • 1 oz pear liqueur
  • 1 oz sparkling pear juice
  • 1 oz ginger syrup recipe below
  • For the Ginger Syrup:
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 lb fresh ginger peeled and sliced about 1/4-inch thick
Preparation
  1. Make the simple syrup: combine all ingredients for the simple syrup in a sauce pan on low heat. Stir until sugar has dissolved.
  2. Leave on low (all the way down low) heat for 20 minutes. Let cool, strain to remove the ginger pieces and pour into a jar and refrigerate.
  3. Make the martini: to a shaker, add crushed ice and all ingredients for the martini. Shake, shake, shake.
  4. Pour into a chilled martini glass and garnish with pear cubes skewered onto a martini pick!
