Reminiscent in flavour to flan but firmer in texture, this was my first time tasting Far Breton, a traditional dessert from the French region of Brittany. Simply put, I loved it. The caramel sauce provided an interesting counterpoint to the sweetness of the cake, as did the poached grapes, which had absorbed the sauce’s flavor.
