Citrus Whipped Cream

In this recipe, homemade whipped cream is flavoured with lime and citrus rum for a fresh topping that’s perfect for brunch.

1 cup Elle & Vire® Whipping Cream

1/3 cup powdered sugar

2 tsp. lime juice 

1/4 tsp. lime zest (plus extra for garnish)

1 Tbsp. citrus rum (optional)

Place a metal mixing bowl and metal whisk into the freezer for 10 to 15 minutes.
Add all ingredients to a medium-sized bowl and using a hand mixer, beat on high until soft peaks form, about 3 minutes. Sprinkle with extra lime zest. Omit rum if you want.
