In this recipe, homemade whipped cream is flavoured with lime and citrus rum for a fresh topping that’s perfect for brunch.
Citrus Whipped Cream
- 1 cup Elle & Vire® Whipping Cream
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tsp. lime juice
- 1/4 tsp. lime zest plus extra for garnish
- 1 Tbsp. citrus rum optional
Place a metal mixing bowl and metal whisk into the freezer for 10 to 15 minutes.
Add all ingredients to a medium-sized bowl and using a hand mixer, beat on high until soft peaks form, about 3 minutes. Sprinkle with extra lime zest. Omit rum if you want.
